Ans. "Data Anywhere Architecture" is a term which basically sums up the functioning of the Repository API in ATG. Data Anywhere Architecture allows a single approach for interacting with any various Databases (MySql, Oracle etc.), LDAP Directories, content management systems and file systems.
In other words, Data Anywhere Architecture, with the help of Repository API enables you to write code to interact with any database, File System etc. The application logic to CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) this data does not have to change if the underlying database changes (only some configuration changes have to be made).
